FIRESMART HANDS-ON WORKSHOP

Time: 10am – Noon
Location: Belcarra Regional Park, by the təmtəmíxʷtən/Belcarra Park picnic area dock
Metro Vancouver, in collaboration with the Sasamat Volunteer Fire Department, is holding a hands-on workshop designed for water access properties that will cover:
Basic firefighting tips, including personal preparedness, fire behaviour, and key contacts
Portable fire extinguisher training and a hands-on practice session
Orientation and hands-on practice with portable water pumps
Water access residents and property owners of the Village of Belcarra are welcome to participate in this workshop.
