Metro Vancouver is expanding donation options at the United Boulevard Recycling and Waste Centre through a pilot with Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver. Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver is on-site accepting reusable household goods, like dishes, games, and small electronics, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm in the free recycling area. Their experts will assess items to make sure they are suitable for reuse, so residents can donate with confidence.
Next time you are taking recyclables to the United Boulevard Recycling and Waste Centre, bring along your unwanted reusable items to drop off at the same time.

Metro Vancouver has also established a database and search tool for residents and businesses to find out where to recycle or donate thousands of different materials across the region.
