Bylaw Complaints

Submitting A By-Law Complaint:

  • We suggest you try to resolve problems in a neighbourly manner before contacting the Village Hall.  Often the problem can be resolved without involving the municipality.

  • Check the specific requirements of the municipal bylaws before submitting a complaint to the municipality.

  • Not all concerns are the jurisdiction of the municipality.  For example, issues involving sewage disposal will be referred to the Fraser Health Region for their attention.

  • Complaints will not be accepted without your name, address and phone number.    The municipality will not act on anonymous complaints.

  • Anonymity will be maintained between the complainant and the alleged offender, except where necessary in a court of law.
